Senior Regional Sales Manager Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and personable Senior Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The Senior Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling ASM Group's services to a variety of customers.


The Senior Regional Sales Manager (SRSM) is an individual contributor role responsible for driving revenue growth. This role is responsible for acquiring new business partners and growing existing customers to successfully meet monthly/yearly quota expectations. The SRSM will be responsible for developing lead sources through cold-calling, email, social media, and networking.

Senior Regional Sales Manager Essential Job Functions

  • Shows a sales hunter mentality - understands the need to build a sales pipeline and moves prospects through a defined sales process.
  • Maintains meaningful relationships both internally and with external clients.
  • Utilizes and maintains consistent and accurate data within our CRM.
  • Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Conducts annual or quarterly reviews based on the needs of customers.
  • Provides up-to-date sales forecasts.
  • Will need to attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers.
  • Follows industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
  • Recommends marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.

Senior Regional Sales Manager Experience and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
  • 5 years of related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
  • Experience developing leads without relying on "lists."
  • Experience selling to manufacturers or selling logistics services is required.
  • SaaS knowledge is preferred.
  • Proven experience selling to C-Suite level clientele is preferred.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.

Background Check Policy and Procedure

All offers of employment at ASM Group Inc. are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates and on all employees who are promoted, as deemed necessary.

Background checks will include:

  • Social Security Verification: validates the applicant's Social Security number, date of birth and former addresses.
  • Criminal History: includes review of criminal convictions and probation. The following factors will be considered for applicants with a criminal history:
  • The nature of the crime and its relationship to the position.
  • The time since the conviction.
  • The number (if more than one) of convictions.
  • Whether hiring, transferring or promoting the applicant would pose an unreasonable risk to the business, its employees or its customers and vendors.

Procedure

When offered the position, the candidate is required to complete the background check authorization form.

Human Resources will order the background check upon receipt of the signed release form, and either internal HR staff or an employment screening service will conduct the checks. A designated HR representative will review all results.

The HR representative will notify the hiring manager regarding the results of the check. In instances where negative or incomplete information is obtained, the appropriate management and Human Resources will assess the potential risks and liabilities related to the job's requirements and determine whether the individual should be hired. If a decision not to hire or promote a candidate is made based on the results of a background check, there may be certain additional Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements that will be handled by Human Resources in conjunction with the employment screening service (if applicable).

Background check information will be maintained in a file separate from employees' personnel files for a minimum of five years.
