The Role

Ghia is looking for a Northeast Regional Sales Manager to accelerate the growth of our wholesale channel. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our distributors and retail accounts, while scaling the brand within your territory. This will be a fast paced, relationship-driven role that requires strategic sales ability, deep knowledge of our products, and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role will report to the Head of Sales.

Ghia is looking for a Northeast Regional Sales Manager to accelerate the growth of our wholesale channel. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our distributors and retail accounts, while scaling the brand within your territory. This will be a fast paced, relationship-driven role that requires strategic sales ability, deep knowledge of our products, and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role will report to the Head of Sales.

Who You Are

You love to meet people and bring in a wide variety of relationships to Ghia. You are a connector and salesperson at heart, and love the thrill of a win as much as you love building relationships. You relish data and make decisions driven by data, but also have deep intuition about when to zig when everyone zags. Most of all, you have a startup mindset and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves to make the sale, crunch the numbers, or run a demo.

Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for distributor partners within your territory, working with them to develop the brand, secure new distribution, and grow case volume
  • Manage and forecast distributor inventory
  • Own your market, identifying areas for growth and understanding where key opportunities lie
  • Secure new distribution in key accounts, with a focus on regional chains, key independents, and high visibility on-premise
  • Secure velocity-driving opportunities in accounts, inclusive of selling in features and displays, implementing POS, booking demos, etc
  • Work with brokers / merchandisers to identify and execute on additional opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in beverage (alcohol or non-alc)
  • Must have experience working with 3 tier distributors
  • Experience selling to independent retail, regional chains, and on-premise
  • Ability to travel periodically within territory, and comfortable working remote
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Experience VIP and CRM software, experience with Shopify is a plus
  • Experience with a start-up and/or small company is a significant plus
  • Able to embrace challenges, and think critically to find solutions that benefit all parties involved
  • Determination to accomplish goals while always looking for ways to improve

Compensation

  • $75,000-$85,000 base salary annually, plus quarterly bonus
  • Opportunity for equity
