Leading spiked coconut water producer, SUNBOY, is searching for an energetic Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to grow the brand throughout Tennessee, Northern Georgia and Alabama. This is the perfect role for a motivated coconut lover with deep supplier-side experience in beer sales and distribution.

Company Overview

SUNBOY defines a new category of better-for-you beverages as the world’s first ready-to-drink spiked coconut water. The canned cocktail range is 5% ABV, gluten-free and vegan, with no added sugar and way more electrolytes than leading sports drinks. “You’ll thank us tomorrow morning,” as the company slogan goes.

SUNBOY is growing at a rate of more than 300% year over year, boasting placements in the nation’s largest chain retailers and distribution in 12 states. With even greater expansion on the horizon, SUNBOY is building a first-class sales team.

The Role

SUNBOY seeks a personable, goal-oriented RSM to drive growth throughout the southeast. You should have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of alcohol distribution, and a knack for building lasting relationships with retail and distributor partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with each of our distributors in your territory - Specifically Lipman Brothers in TN, Savannah Distributing in GA, and AlaBev in AL
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing On/Off Premise accounts while actively seeking new partnerships
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve territory sales goals and objectives
  • Identify, target, onboard, and support new business opportunities, including retail stores, bars, restaurants, and venues
  • Engage and educate retailers and consumers about SUNBOY and its unique benefits through product presentations and tastings
  • Implement promotional campaigns and events that drive brand awareness
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback
  • Oversee SUNBOY brand ambassadors in your market
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to network and promote SUNBOY

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ year experience working with supplier-side experience
  • Friendly, confident, curious, and outgoing
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills
  • Startup beverage brand experience

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to make SUNBOY top priority
  • Must be enthusiastically willing to travel extensively within the territory
  • Must work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Must have and maintain a working vehicle and a clean driving record
  • Must have night and weekend availability as needed
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
