Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for increasing sales of the HASKEL BUTECH portfolio through all assigned Channel Distributors and Direct Key accounts (OEM, EPCs, and System Integrators). The RSM will utilize sales strategies, channel management skills, and a full understanding of selling techniques to target all market sectors and maximize sales of HASKEL BUTECH products. The role requires high technical aptitude, influence in brand preference, and the ability to articulate value propositions as part of the solution selling process, including familiarity with process equipment such as pressure boosting and flow calculations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing sales channels within the region, including setting sales targets, conducting performance reviews, preparing monthly sales reports, developing regional sales strategies, and supervising corrective actions.
  • Establish annual sales growth targets for Channel Distributors and direct accounts in collaboration with the Director of Sales.
  • Maintain accurate Sales Funnel data to support the Annual Operating Plan and forecasting.
  • Update and report on Channel Distributor Scorecards regularly.
  • Set SMART goals for each Channel Distributor, find replacements if needed, and facilitate onboarding of new partners.
  • Participate in planning and executing trade shows, marketing programs, training, and sales presentations.
  • Stay informed on market trends affecting HASKEL BUTECH sales and maintain knowledge of the product portfolio.
  • Share best practices across Channel Distributors in the territory.
  • Ensure effective coverage of all geographic and market segments by Channel Distributors.
  • Identify underperforming partners and implement improvement plans.
  • Make field visits to promote sales with key accounts and prospects.
  • Evaluate and recommend new market opportunities and potential changes in representation or segmentation to achieve regional financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience selling fluid process or related equipment in Power, Industrial, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, or similar markets.
Core Competencies:
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid customer and team relationships.
  • Honest, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
  • Mechanical and electrical expertise.
  • Ability to assess customer needs, perform basic performance calculations, and recommend technical solutions.
  • Tech-savvy with proven sales and business acumen.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Preferences:
  • 3+ years of direct sales account management experience.
  • Territory or channel management experience, with industrial sales preferred.
  • Proven strategic thinking and growth leadership.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Valid driver’s license with no major violations in the recent past.
Travel & Work Requirements:
  • Travel approximately 50-60% across North America monthly.
  • Access to a major airport for travel.
Pay Range:

$130,000 - $200,000, including incentives. Compensation depends on skills, experience, certifications, and location. Eligible for bonuses and incentives.
