Akers Packaging Service Group is seeking a Sales Leader to oversee 8-10 sales reps in Detroit, SE Michigan, and NE Ohio. You will coach the team, sell to clients, and execute sales and marketing plans to hit retention, growth, and profitability targets.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of technical sales in the corrugated packaging industry is strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team.
• Demonstrated track record of success selling within a B2B environment.
• Proficient knowledge of pricing theory and margin management.
• Excellent analytical skills with ERP/CRM proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Set market sales strategies and goals aligned with corporate objectives.
• Direct and coordinate promotion to develop new markets and retain share.
• Analyze market needs, pricing, and discount strategies.
• Meet with key clients and assist reps with relationships, pricing, and closing deals.
• Plan and implement sales retention and development strategies.
• Forecast sales and set performance targets.
• Drive product simplification to remove non-profitable items.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and growth opportunities.
• Recruit, coach, and motivate the sales team.
• Provide pricing insights and proposals to the team.
• Evaluate sales performance of the team and give feedback.
• Promote Akers Packaging in industry associations.
• Monitor competitors' activities and product lines.
