Job summary

Piedmont National seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives and drive sales growth across the assigned region. You will develop regional strategies, manage accounts, and forecast opportunities to align with corporate goals.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability while representing the company at trade shows and industry events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience with 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in packaging, distribution, or related industry strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve regional sales goals.
• Establish regional sales strategies, set performance targets, and monitor progress against revenue and profitability objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, leveraging deep understanding of customer needs to deliver tailored packaging solutions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast regional sales, prepare budgets, and identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with customer service, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify, pursue, and secure high-value opportunities that expand market share within the assigned region.
• Conduct regular field visits with sales staff to observe performance, provide coaching, and reinforce best practices.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and product offerings.
• Represent Piedmont National at trade shows, networking events, and community engagements to promote the company’s brand and services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and continuous training requirements.
