Job summary

ID Technology LLC in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an Area Sales Manager to proactively develop leads, establish and maintain customer relations, and drive profitability in the North West region.

You will sell labeling and coding equipment, manage accounts, prepare proposals, and support national accounts. Expect significant travel and use of MS Office to maintain records and generate reports, with a compensation package reflecting base pay, commissions, and benefits.

Qualifications

• College education or proven sales experience with success.
• Ability to identify customer needs and match their solution with company products/services.
• Knowledge of industry and applications within the packaging/labeling domain.
• Computer literacy, especially with MS Office.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% and own a dependable vehicle.
• Strong communication, organizational skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Sell ID Technology products including label, coding & marking equipment, labels, and ribbons.
• Develop new and maintain existing account relations in an ethical and profitable manner.
• Support national accounts as required.
• Follow up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner.
• Maintain a prospect-customer data base.
• Prepare proposals & quotes for prospects within the company’s standard guidelines.
• Develop reports in keeping with company reporting mechanisms.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required by leadership.
• Keep current on trends from both market & technical standpoints.
