Job summary

Phathom Pharmaceuticals seeks a Regional Sales Manager to lead a field team across northern CA, WA, ID, OR, and NV. You will recruit, train, and coach sales professionals to successfully launch the vonoprazan franchise, including H.

pylori and GERD indications, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to optimize regional growth. The role requires a strong track record in specialty pharma sales, leadership, and strategic execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in pharma/biopharma with 2–3 years in sales management
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
• Proven leadership of high-performing sales teams
• Experience launching first-in-category brands
• Ability to travel within the region and build relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a regional sales team to drive vonoprazan launches
• Attract, train, motivate, and retain top sales talent
• Direct omni-channel sales strategies across live and virtual settings
• Collaborate with Compliance and HR to ensure alignment and talent development
• Develop regional business plans and drive market expansion
