BlackHawk Industrial is seeking a Full Time Sales Manager in Grand Rapids, MI. The role oversees Account Managers, orchestrates the regional sales team, and aligns with other departments to meet sales and profitability goals.

This position emphasizes leadership, safety, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing distribution, significant sales leadership experience, and a track record of achieving targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related area preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar position required.
• 10 years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales and gross profit objective to fiscal year by being actively involved with current and potential sales opportunities.
• Lead monthly meetings with each account manager to review the sales review matrix.
• Promote documented cost savings. Ensure we are meeting the commitments we have made to our customers.
• Review weekly account receivable report with BlackHawk credit specialist: support credit when requested.
• Work with Customer Service to insure prompt feedback to customers from alternate web portals.
• Plan and implement sales programs; Train sales staff and set goals to increase performance.
