Job summary

Fives is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts across the Central U.S. region, including Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

You will analyze customer needs, craft value-based solutions, manage distributors and reps, and forecast performance to meet growth goals. Role requires 3+ years of field sales or 5+ years technical experience, travel up to 60%, and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years field sales or 5+ years technical/service experience.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and abrasives preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within Central U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and formulate solutions to sell value by utilizing all agent and company resources.
• Provide information to customers on new and current products, pricing structure and delivery status.
• Seek new uses and applications for company products with existing and prospective customers.
• Develop individual sales strategy for each account in the designated territory to optimize bookings.
• Recommend and attend Industrial Trade Shows for the purpose of developing new markets.
• Oversee direct preparation of proposals, contracts, amendments and supporting promotional activities.
• Provide support for projects and testing, after the order, whether internal or external.
• Collect business intelligence and submit special reports regarding territory operations and competitive conditions.
• Recommend addition of new products, services and modifications to the line.
