Zing Recruiting in Rockville, MD, seeks an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead an inside and outside sales team and drive regional revenue growth across fire inspection services, security systems, and project-based fire protection installations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales leadership, key account management, and revenue growth, with experience in fire protection, life safety, security, or construction services highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of sales management experience in a service-based or trades industry.
• Proven success achieving sales quotas, growing teams, expanding markets, or exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience managing both inside sales and outside field sales teams.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a regional inside and outside sales team of 5–10 employees.
• Establish sales goals, performance expectations, and accountability metrics.
• Conduct pipeline reviews, sales coaching, and field ride-alongs to improve team performance.
• Manage regional revenue targets and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales growth.
• Develop pricing strategies in partnership with operations and senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting through Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
• Identify new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and multifamily residential markets.
• Collaborate with marketing to support lead generation, campaigns, and cross‑selling initiatives.
