Job summary

Sentry Equipment Corp. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Great Lakes/Upper Midwest region. You will drive sales growth, develop and manage manufacturers’ representatives, and build lasting customer relationships across engineering and industrial markets.

You will collaborate with Inside Sales, Proposal Management, Engineering, and other teams to deliver competitive solutions. Travel of approximately 40–50% is expected as part of territory development and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• At least three years of technical sales experience.
• Experience with both direct sales and channel-based sales.
• Experience serving electric utility, industrial boiler, or process-market customers is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 40–50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales plan for assigned territories.
• Establish sales goals and quotas, monitor progress, and own results.
• Manage direct-sales activity in territories without manufacturer's representatives.
• Analyze sales performance, customer needs, pricing, and market potential to identify opportunities for growth.
• Train, support, manage, and evaluate manufacturers' representatives.
• Coordinate support related to applications, quotations, product service, promotions, and customer concerns.
• Partner with internal teams to develop competitive and profitable solutions and work with end users to understand applications.
• Represent Sentry Equipment at industry trade shows and company sales meetings.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging customer needs and potential new-product opportunities.
• Provide leadership and supervision to sales or administrative team members as assigned.
