Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager, Sales Engineering to lead a team of Sales Engineers and frontline leaders across the region. This role focuses on driving technical execution, shaping regional strategy, and partnering with Sales leadership to scale impact beyond individual deals.

The position is in a hybrid Datadog workplace, emphasizing collaboration, development, and operational excellence while delivering high-quality customer engagements and scalable regional execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading Sales Engineers and/or frontline leaders in a customer-facing technical organization.
• 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a technical customer-facing role.
• Proven ability to partner with senior Sales leadership on regional strategy, long-range planning, and forecast alignment.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers, driving performance and growth.
• Partner with senior Sales leadership on regional strategy, multi-quarter planning, and capacity forecasting.
• Own in-field execution with executive presence on strategic opportunities and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Oversee high-quality delivery across technical sales cycles, including evaluations and deal progression.
• Hire and onboard top talent, building a high-performing team with structured onboarding.
