Job summary

Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., seeks a Sales Engineer to cover the South Central and Southwest regions, including OK, TX, NE, KS, ID, UT, NM, SW TX, AZ, NV, CA and HI. Ideal candidate builds strong relationships with engineers, utilities, and contractors, and promotes product specifications nationwide.

The role emphasizes engineering knowledge, field support, and travel, with a focus on driving major projects and maintaining CRM records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, P.E. preferred.
• Ten years’ experience in utility/water/construction could substitute for a degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and database usage.
• Knowledge of Water and Wastewater Systems and Operations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing to relocate and travel ~3 nights per week.
• Previous proven sales experience in a spec-driven environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call on city engineers and specifying officials nationwide to support Territory Managers.
• Present programs to engineering and specifying groups and organize training sessions.
• Travel with Territory Managers to gain experience and knowledge of the field environment.
• Maintain CRM records with calls, activities and pursuits.
• Provide sales reports and participate in lead development.
