Job summary

Tyler Union, a McWane division, seeks a Product Engineer to design, develop, test, and continuously improve our trugrip product line and related waterworks components. The role combines hands‑on engineering with modeling, drafting, and validation testing, collaborating with Operations, Foundry, Quality, and Sales to meet performance and manufacturability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
• Knowledge of casting, machining, coatings, assembly, and inspection methods preferred.
• Understanding of waterworks products and industry standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design & development of true grip products and related components.
• Create/update 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
• Support tooling design, simulation, and manufacturability improvements.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for field issues and quality concerns.
• Collaborate with Foundry, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
