Job summary

Leviton seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead the ED field sales team across assigned regions, drive demand, and manage key accounts. You’ll collaborate with Inside Sales and Sales Specialists to optimize product mix and achieve regional goals.

The role requires 10+ years in regional sales leadership, strong KPIs, and budget management, with a high travel commitment and experience in Salesforce.com.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of regional sales leadership experience desirable.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Proven track record with KPIs and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Determine and implement the region’s sales strategy within Leviton’s broader business plan.
• Develop a comprehensive sales plan and KPIs for the assigned region.
• Oversee revenue for product categories within Residential, Commercial & Industrial, Controls and Connected Home.
• Coach ED field sales representatives and agents.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Inside Sales to execute the region’s strategy.
• Conduct field visits to drive demand (about 60% of time).
• Provide sales and technical coaching to ensure achievement of goals.
• Manage the region’s budget and determine ideal territory size for profitability.
• Execute sales and marketing initiatives to grow distributor MPG sales.
• Use data to focus the ED team on growth opportunities and product mix.
• Leverage Salesforce.com to collaborate across teams.
