Job summary

Flowers Bakeries in New Orleans, LA has an immediate opening for an Area Sales Director. This role supports DSD sales and Independent Distributors, building relationships with key accounts to drive promotions and displays.

You will work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze opportunities and grow the customer base, using digital tools to report wins and project future growth.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in general management or sales.
• Bachelor's degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Support DSD sales and Independent Distributors.
• Build and maintain solid customer relationships with key accounts to help ensure promotion and display execution in the market.
• Utilize digital tools to show execution wins and opportunities for continued growth.
• Work with a Market Vice President and the Sales Enablement team to analyze market and territory opportunities to maximize sales, while using consumer insights to adjust sales strategies.
