Job summary

ProAct is seeking a results-driven sales professional to drive new business in the PBM/Insurance space from its Phoenix, AZ office. You will develop prospecting systems, engage in territory development, and manage contract closures while coordinating with marketing and account management.

The role emphasizes implementation support for new accounts and ongoing client communications, with a focus on meeting annual sales targets and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Experience in PBM or Insurance sales or account management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a system to identify prospective new clients.
• Active in assigned territory for at least 30% of the work week.
• Manage closures of sales initiatives and define contract/operating agreement requirements.
• Assist with plan sponsor negotiations and contract signatures.
• Assist in implementation stages of new or existing accounts.

Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for sales initiatives, contract closures, and assist in the implementation and general startup of employer groups. Play a supportive role in the on-going maintenance and communication with sold clients. Targeted annual production is a minimum of 20,000 members.Job Duties:Develop a system to effectively, and continually identify prospective new clientsBe active in assigned territory for a minimum of 30% of work weekDevelop the appropriate sales initiatives including cold calls, direct mail, phone contact, and Internet contactManage the closure of sales initiatives and define administrative requirements including report requirements, plan parameters, and network managementAssist with plan sponsor negotiations and obtain signature of contract/Operating agreementAssist in the implementation stages of a new or existing account, including employee orientationAssist in the on-going support and communication with accountsPartner with Account Management regarding the renewal process of existing accountsDevelop a strategic business plan to exceed yearly sales goalsIncrease prospective client base by coordinating strategies with the ProAct marketing teamAttend and participate in frequent on-campus sales department meetingsProvide input on development of marketing and advertising programsBe fully compliant with ProAct’s CRM applicationResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedEducation:Minimum: BS Degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldPreferred: MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldExperience:Preferred: Previous 3 years hands-on sales experience in Sales or Account Management in the PBM or Insurance business
