Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group is seeking a detail-oriented administrative assistant to support national sales order processing. You will enter orders daily, maintain accuracy, and collaborate with internal/external contacts to ensure campaign success.

Proficiency with Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel is required. The role offers full-time hours with benefits, including retirement, health and vision plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and deadline discipline.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Adherence to SOPs and organizational directives.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.
  • Broadcast sales, media buying, or agency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry of national sales orders from national advertisers.
  • Daily entry into traffic system with accuracy and constraints.
  • Maintenance and research on orders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Communicate with internal/external contacts to ensure campaign success.
  • Develop understanding of national sales processes and SOPs.
  • Prioritize workload with urgency and balance, completing tasks on time.
  • Generate and maintain reports from internal systems and Excel.
  • Daily use of Windows PC and Office applications.

Job description

Responsibilities include:
  • Primary function is data entry of national sales orders from national advertisers
  • Daily entry of National Sales orders into the traffic system with accuracy and complying to order contract, inventory, and scheduling constraints.
  • Daily maintenance and research on national sales orders to troubleshoot and resolve order-related issues and discrepancies
  • Regular communication and collaboration with both internal and external contacts to ensure campaign success.
  • Develop a strong understanding and adherence to the National sales process and nuances, systems, and SOPs
  • Consistent independent prioritizing and organizing of workload with a sense of urgency and balance.
  • Completion of assigned tasks within the given deadline.
  • Regular generation, manipulation, and maintenance of reports both from internal systems and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Daily use of Windows PC including Office programs such as Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word.
  • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience of administrative support preferred
  • A high level of organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks under a deadline
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Consistently comply with organizational directives and national standard operating procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal and external team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Broadcast Sales, media buying, or agency experience is a plus
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and customer service focus

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $17.23 to $19.23 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans,flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
