Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Broadview Heights, OH is seeking a Region Trainer to drive safety excellence across sites. You’ll deliver CMV driver training, conduct OSHA/DOT/FMCSA compliance sessions, and ensure a culture of safety from day one.

You’ll partner with safety leaders to develop programs, maintain training records, perform field coaching, and support investigations. A valid Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card are required, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with OSHA/DOT regulations advantageous.
• Ability to train others clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation sessions to establish a safety-first mindset.
• Deliver CMV driver training including pre-trip inspections, defensive driving, load securement.
• Conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training for operational roles.
• Collaborate with safety and HE/PIT subject matter experts to develop qualified training programs.
• Maintain training documentation: attendance, certifications, and compliance reports for audits.
