Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Region Trainer to drive safety across multiple sites. You will train new hires on CMV operations, safety policies, and regulatory requirements to set day-one expectations.

You will conduct OSHA/DOT/FMCSA compliance training, perform field coaching, maintain training records, and collaborate with safety leaders to improve incident prevention. CDL required with driving responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years keeping detailed records in a safety environment
• 5+ years interpreting federal, state and local safety regulations
• Experience conducting instructor-led or practical training
• Understanding of DOT and OSHA requirements
• Waste industry experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead new hire safety orientation sessions
• Deliver CMV driver training including inspections, defensive driving, load securement
• Conduct OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA compliance training
• Partner with safety experts to develop training programs
• Maintain training documentation and audits
• Develop and measure training competencies
• Facilitate toolbox talks and safety huddles
• Provide field coaching and ride-alongs
• Support incident investigations with training insights
• Assist with site safety inspections
