Job summary

Greyhound is seeking a Regional Safety and Training Manager to oversee Driver Training, safety compliance, and on-call incident response across the region. You will organize training schools, review performances, and ensure adherence to FMCSA rules while coordinating with field staff.

You will lead driver trainers, manage background checks, HOS/ELD training, and 30-/60-/90-day check-ins for new drivers. The role requires CDL, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory leadership experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various management levels.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
• Valid CDL and driving experience.
• FMCSA/CVSA regulations familiarity preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Organize and staff all driver training schools.
• Handle background checks and qualification files.
• Train drivers, trainers, and operations staff on HOS and ELDs.
• Ensure trainees are paid and scheduled for training.
• Serve as on-call expert for accidents, incidents, and drug testing.
• Review speed reports and driving habits.
• Coordinate field trainer activities and quality control of training.
• Respond to accidents on scene when possible.
• Assist with driver hiring.
• Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new drivers.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
