Job summary

S&S Activewear, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead regional health and safety programs across multiple distribution centers. The role focuses on reducing Serious Injury and Fatality risks through proactive risk management and strong leadership.

You will partner with site leaders, manage audits, and mentor safety teams while traveling regularly to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. The position is based onsite in Reno, NV with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in OH&S, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Environmental, Health & Safety leadership experience.
• Experience managing safety programs across multiple locations in distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or similar operations.
• CSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety strategy to reduce SIF/pSIF risks across 5–10 distribution centers.
• Administer safety programs, identify risk exposures, verify control effectiveness, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with regional directors and site leaders to embed safety into operations and improve performance.
• Lead complex incident investigations and learning reviews to identify systemic factors and prevent recurrence.
• Analyze safety data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conduct site visits, verify critical controls, and promote continuous improvement.
• Travel 25%–50%.
