S&S Activewear, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to provide regional health and safety leadership across multiple distribution centers, including Lockport, IL. You will drive corporate safety strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of EH&S leadership experience, including 3+ years across multiple locations in distribution, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or similar complex operations.
• CSP certification preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise or regional initiatives focused on SIF/pSIF prevention and risk management.
• Ability to build partnerships with operational leaders and influence safety performance.

Aufgaben

• Lead regional safety strategy to reduce SIF/pSIF risks and integrate risk management into daily operations.
• Administer programs to identify critical risk exposures, evaluate control effectiveness, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Regional Directors and site leaders to embed safety into operations and strengthen leadership accountability.
• Lead complex incident investigations and learning reviews to identify systemic factors and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conduct regular site visits and field engagements to assess operational risk and verify critical controls.
• Travel approximately 25% to 50%.
• Champion a culture of learning, engagement, and accountability for hazard reporting and risk reduction.
• Support workers' compensation, return-to-work programs, regulatory inspections, and compliance activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop safety professionals and leaders to build sustainable ownership of safety.
