Job summary

Irvine Company is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs across its California properties. You will partner with engineering, maintenance, and on-site teams to identify hazards and implement proactive safety measures.

The role requires ASP/CSP, knowledge of OSHA/NFPA, a Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of experience. A valid CA driver’s license is required; base pay ranges from $108,200 to $134,300 with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• ASP and/or CSP required.
• Knowledge of EHS regs/standards including CA OSHA, Federal OSHA, NFPA, and related regs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety programs across assigned CA properties.
• Monitor safety training compliance and conduct follow-ups.
• Develop proactive processes, procedures, and metrics to prevent injuries.
• Lead development of risk mitigation tools and monthly safety meetings.
• Perform on-site safety inspections and investigations to drive corrective actions.
• Conduct site safety walks and engage site teams on safety concerns.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Capital Projects to resolve hazards.
• Provide expert safety guidance and stay current with safety regulations.
