Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Katy, TX is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to lead safety programs across locations. You will develop training, ensure OSHA compliance, and partner with HR to reduce injuries.

The role requires a Bachelor's or equivalent safety experience, 5+ years in safety/compliance, OSHA certification preferred, and ability to travel up to 50%. The company offers strong benefits and a culture of growth within Sonepar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent safety/compliance experience.
• 5+ years progressive safety and compliance experience.
• Certification in OSHA or equivalent program preferred.
• Experience in injury and accident reporting.
• Experience in HAZCOM training, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience in creating and implementing Workplace Safety Programs.
• Experience in electrical distribution warehousing and logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, write, communicate and improve Crawford’s safety program and ensure compliance.
• Develop and deliver safety training for drivers, warehouse, and office associates.
• Provide annual safety report to Exec Team including initiatives and location-specific safety performance.
• Function as corporate contact for accident reporting and investigations; coordinate with HR on workers' comp.
• Oversee regular safety inspections and audits; implement corrective measures.
• Manage workers compensation claims and coordinate with third-party administrators.
• Complete OSHA reporting and ensure adherence to safety directives and initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR and Sonepar on safety education and LMS-based compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and programs.
• Develop evacuation and building security plans; support Facility Manager on security.
