Job summary

Anchor Bay Packaging Corporation seeks a Regional Safety Manager to lead development, implementation, and administration of workplace safety programs across Michigan and Texas facilities. You will establish policies, supervise documentation, training systems, inspections, incident investigations, and regulatory responses while ensuring leadership supports safe practices.

This role requires regular presence in production and warehouse areas, with travel between states; you will work with plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety/engineering or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing safety preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification desirable.
• ASP or CSP certification preferred; ability to travel between MI and TX facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain site safety policies and programs for Michigan and Texas facilities.
• Lead regulatory compliance, inspections, audits, and incident investigations; coordinate with leadership.
• Oversee injury/illness recordkeeping and reporting; manage corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and coordinate local trainer qualification; convene safety committees.
