Job summary

WSB is seeking a Manager, Right of Way to provide strategic and operational leadership for our Texas regional group. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and support business development while ensuring compliant, high-quality right of way services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business/planning/survey/real estate or related field.
• 10+ years of right of way experience including PM, acquisition, relocation, title examination, and analysis.
• 3+ years of people leadership of a right of way team.
• 3+ years of business development with utility/oil & gas/renewables/government.
• Strong knowledge of right of way acquisition, negotiation, and relocation processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects.
• Understanding of the Uniform Relocation Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional right of way projects across the utility, renewable energy, and transportation sectors.
• Manage and grow the Texas Right of Way Group in coordination with the National Director.
• Achieve revenue targets and maintain team utilization goals.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements for projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate title research, survey, legal, and appraisal consultants for timely execution.
• Promote best practices and formal agent training through the WSB program.

Education

Associates degree in business, planning, survey, real estate, or a closely related field

Local State Real Estate License

Public Notary License (as applicable to state of work)

IRWA SR/WA designation (preferred)

AAPL Member (preferred)

10+ years of right of way experience (PM, acquisition, relocation, title examination, analysis)

3+ years of people leadership

3+ years of business development with utilities/oil & gas/renewables/government
