Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group is seeking a Regional Sales Director to drive retirement plan sales across a Southern NJ/PA/MD/DC territory. You will build a large region, lead client engagements, and execute cross-sell opportunities through outbound outreach.

Requirements include 5+ years of B2B sales, knowledge of 401k/403b products, FINRA licenses (6/63/SIE), and a bachelor’s degree or life insurance license. A valid driver’s license and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside business-to-business sales experience with proven efficiency in selling, presenting, prospecting, and territory management.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b plans).
• Ability to make outbound cold calls to prospective clients.
• Strong relationship management and strategic thinking abilities.
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63, and SIE; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory with new sources of business.
• Meet with Plan Sponsors of retirement plans through networking, referrals and cold calling.
• Cross-sell solutions to reach and exceed sales goals across the territory.
• Attend client review meetings to position the company for new opportunities.
