Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Patient Access Manager in Chicago to lead a team of Patient Access Specialists, ensuring optimal reimbursement education and support for neuroscience products. You will drive district performance, develop plans for benefits investigations, and maintain strict regulatory compliance.

With 8+ years in reimbursement and related areas, you will manage implementing patient access strategies, mentoring staff, and delivering customer-driven value across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales, Part B/ Medical benefit, and/or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
• Specialty pharmacy channel experience; CMS policy and process knowledge.
• Current driver’s license in good standing and ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.
• Advanced degree (desired).
• 3+ years in a field reimbursement and access leadership position.
• Experience in CNS therapeutic area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the skill sets and performance of the Patient Access Specialists to achieve/exceed business goals.
• Direct Patient Access Specialists in providing reimbursement education and leveraging PHI for neuroscience products.
• Develop plans to help translate and support benefits investigation and prior authorization processes for neuroscience products and administration/observation.
• Provide communication and motivation to all district members toward delivering customer expectations; reinforce customer-driven value.
• Remain compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and ensure the team is trained accordingly.
