Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Patient Access Manager to lead, coach and develop the Patient Access Specialists in the assigned region, ensuring the team contributes to key reimbursement and access goals for neuroscience products.

This role requires 8+ years in reimbursement, CMS policy knowledge, the ability to travel up to 75%, a valid driver's license, and residence within the territory. Base salary ranges from $180,000 to $190,000 with potential commissions or bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years in reimbursement, contract strategy, managed care sales, Part B/ Medical benefit, and/or healthcare/pharmaceuticals.
• Specialty pharmacy channel experience; CMS policy and process knowledge.
• Travel up to 75% must be able to travel overnight.
• Must live within territory or within territory boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the skill sets and performance of the Patient Access Specialists to achieve/exceed specific business goals.
• Direct Patient Access Specialists in providing reimbursement education and leveraging patient healthcare information (PHI) for neuroscience products.
• Develop plans that translate and support benefits investigation and prior authorization processes for neuroscience products.
• Provide communication and motivation to all members of the district toward delivering customer expectations.
• Ensure team is trained on compliance regulations and legal/regulatory requirements.
