Job Title: Candidate Sourcer (Research & Intelligence)
Location: Remote (U.S. based preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time
We’re seeking a sharp, self-directed Candidate Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team. This is not a high-volume sourcing role—it’s a strategic, research-heavy position ideal for someone who is naturally curious, resourceful, and energized by uncovering hard-to-find talent.
You’ll be a key player in building top-of-funnel pipelines for high-impact, often confidential searches across engineering, product, sales, and leadership roles. Your work will involve market mapping, competitive intelligence, creative sourcing strategies, and turning ambiguous briefs into actionable candidate outreach lists. This is a great role for someone who treats sourcing like an intelligence craft.
Conduct deep-dive talent mapping and candidate research across multiple industries and functions
Identify, research, and engage passive talent through a wide range of sourcing channels and tools
Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role nuances and define sourcing strategies
Build and maintain structured candidate databases for ongoing and future hiring needs
Create and iterate Boolean strings, search logic, and advanced filters across platforms (LinkedIn, Github, Twitter, forums, etc.)
Maintain a high standard of candidate data quality, sourcing notes, and CRM hygiene
2+ years of experience in sourcing, market research, recruiting intelligence, or a similar role
Demonstrated success in sourcing for hard-to-fill roles, preferably in startups or high-growth environments
A proactive mindset—you don’t wait to be told what to do
Strong writing, communication, and reasoning skills
Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to see patterns across fragmented data
Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Clay, and contact-finding platforms
Experience with SQL or data querying is a plus, but not required
Comfort working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Airtable, or Clay for workflow automation
Background in market intelligence, talent research, or executive search
Experience building scalable talent pools and outreach strategies across multiple functions
