Job summary

Horrocks is seeking a Regional Lead – Rail Engineer to guide the rail practice across the United States, providing technical leadership and overseeing project delivery. The role focuses on expanding the rail presence, managing client relationships, and supporting business development.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 10+ years in railroad infrastructure, and a proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• PE license is required.
• 10+ years of rail/transportation experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for railroad projects and growth.
• Oversee planning, design, coordination, and delivery of rail projects.
• Coordinate with railroad companies for DOT and municipal projects.
• Mentor engineers and staff across offices.
• Support staffing, resource planning, and project delivery.
• Ensure QA/QC throughout project development.
