Job summary

Horrocks is seeking an experienced Regional Lead – Rail Engineer to guide and grow our rail practice across multiple regions in the United States. You will provide technical leadership, manage key client relationships, oversee successful delivery of rail projects, and help shape regional strategy and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license required and project leadership experience.
• Experience with track design, at-grade crossings, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership for railroad projects and growth initiatives.
• Lead planning, design, and delivery of rail projects including tracks, yards, and sidings.
• Coordinate with railroad companies and public agencies for multi-jurisdictional projects.
• Mentor engineers and staff across offices; support staffing and efficiency.
• Ensure QA/QC throughout project development and delivery.
• Travel regionally for meetings and site visits.
