Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and control for solar EPC projects within the Southwest region. The role is remote with regular travel to project sites, clients, and regulators to train field teams and conduct audits.

You will develop quality plans, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement across projects while ensuring adherence to SOLV standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. are all highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality plans that align with SOLV Energy's Quality Management System, SOLV SOPs and contract requirements for each project.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
• Monitor project quality: conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, AHJ requirements, and installation instructions.
• Manage quality control processes: oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials, components, systems and processes used in PV projects in your region.
• Train and support project teams on QA practices, SOLV Energy's SOPs, SWIs, MOPs and reference guides.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: work with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality-related issues.
• Document and report findings: maintain records of inspections, audits, corrective actions, and prepare regular reports.
• Become proficient in SOLV’s Sunscreen software to train teams and document quality matters.
• Conduct frequent formal audits on documentation, reporting, installation procedures and vendor performance.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis using 5-Why or 8D methods and document RCA outcomes.
• Create, implement and monitor CAPA based on RCA results.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with current industry standards and regulations.
