Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking an Engineering Staff Associate to join the Regional Quality Assurance group. This role supports environmental, civil, geotechnical, and construction material testing projects across multiple sites, assisting senior staff and learning the consulting workflow from the ground up.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a relevant field, 0–2 years of experience, and are pursuing EIT/GIT certification.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant fields.
• Currently in progress towards Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with overseeing comprehensive inspection, testing, and compliance programs on complex and active construction projects.
• Ensure that materials, workmanship, and processes adhere to contract documents, specifications, codes, and industry best practices.
• Manage teams of inspectors and technicians while coordinating with contractors, design professionals, owners, and other stakeholders.
• Document and certify construction in accordance with the site’s CQA Plan requirements.
• Review soil laboratory and field test results, contractor submittal data, and daily field reports for accuracy and completeness.
