Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Staff Associate to join our Regional Quality Assurance team.

You will support projects across environmental, civil, geotechnical, geostructural disciplines and construction material testing, learning under senior staff while pursuing EIT/GIT credentials. This role requires travel to local and regional project sites, hands-on fieldwork, and strict adherence to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a closely related ABET-accredited program.
• 0-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant fields.
• Currently in progress towards Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification.
• Willingness to travel regularly to local and regional project sites, with possible overnight stays, and perform fieldwork following health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with overseeing inspection, testing, and compliance programs on construction projects.
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and processes adhere to contract documents, specifications, codes, and industry practices.
• Manage teams of inspectors and technicians and coordinate with contractors, design professionals, owners, and stakeholders.
• Document and certify construction in accordance with the site’s CQA Plan and review QA documentation.
