Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Staff Associate for Regional Quality Assurance to support environmental, civil, geotechnical, and construction material testing projects. You will assist with inspections, testing programs, and documentation, traveling to project sites as needed within the region.

Ideal candidates have an ABET-accredited associate degree and up to 2 years of experience, with EIT/GIT in progress.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or closely related field from ABET-accredited institution.
• 0-2 years of progressively responsible professional experience in relevant fields.
• Currently pursuing Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification.
• Must travel regularly to local and regional project sites, including overnight stays, with health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with overseeing inspection, testing, and compliance programs on construction projects.
• Ensure materials, workmanship, and processes meet contract documents and codes.
• Lead teams of inspectors and technicians and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Document and certify construction per the site’s CQA Plan requirements.
• Review QA documentation such as soil lab results and daily field reports.
• Perform site investigations, field inspections, and data collection to support project objectives.
• Support in data collection, analysis, and basic report preparation under supervision.
