Job summary

Workforce Recruiter is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for remote, multi-site manufacturing oversight in the Eastern US. The role leads the QA/QC program across locations, supervises a laboratory team, and ensures ISO 9001 compliance with audits and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, hands-on lab leadership, and certifications in ISO 9001 and CQE/CMQ. Willingness to travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory leadership.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and statistical process control.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the organization’s ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.
