Job summary

The Recruiting Hive is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a multi-site manufacturing client. Remote work is available with travel up to 50% to support sites across the U.S.

You will own ISO 9001 QMS, oversee lab quality, audits, root cause analysis, and CAPA, supervising a Quality Coordinator and site lab teams. The role combines quality systems ownership with analytical testing oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemistry/related field.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing or related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, instrumentation, and SPC.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 QMS, including documentation control and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure methods are validated and instruments calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality metrics.
