Job summary

Hire Consulting Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the QA/QC program across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations, with remote work allowed. You will supervise a Quality Coordinator and guide lab teams in quality systems, testing, and compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining ISO 9001, leading audits, validating analytical methods, and driving CAPA. Travel up to 50% is required to support sites and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory leadership.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry and analytical instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001 QMS and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registrations and customer audits.
• Provide direction and training to lab and site QA personnel.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Ensure methods validation and instrument calibration.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
• Manage lab resources, budgets, and quality metrics.
