Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA/QC program across multiple manufacturing sites. This remote role in the Eastern US includes up to 50% travel to various locations and customer sites.

You will oversee the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, audits, and laboratory testing, while supervising the Quality Coordinator and guiding site lab teams in analytical testing and method validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing or related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and SPC.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 QMS, document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and instruments calibrated.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality metrics.
