Job summary

WMFHA is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a multi-site portfolio across your region, ensuring occupancy targets, budget adherence, and a high standard of resident experience. Expect travel to assigned properties and regular reporting to the Corporate Office.

You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with maintenance, lenders, and owners, and implement SOPs while supporting staff development and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma completed.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Property Manager or equivalent.
• Experience in apartment industry preferred.
• Experience overseeing multiple locations (3 to 5 is preferred).
• Ability to travel - valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends for emergencies or snow removal when needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations of a multi-site property portfolio.
• Ensure occupancy and delinquency goals are met for each property.
• Review operating budgets and P&L statements for properties.
• Communicate with on-site managers, lenders, owners and partners.
• Monitor expenses and maintain cost controls.
• Perform regular visits to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with Regional Maintenance Supervisors on service requests.
• Provide staff training and participate in hiring.
• Act as first responder during casualty events and coordinate repairs.
• Pre-audit properties to meet quarterly standards.
• Maintain safe working environment through safety programs.
• Develop relationships with government and safety inspectors.
• Perform other duties as required.
