Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee an affordable multifamily portfolio in the St. Louis area. Lead property operations, ensure LIHTC compliance, manage budgets, and develop site teams across multiple properties.

The role requires extensive LIHTC and affordable housing experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate with the Area Vice President. Regular travel between properties is expected, with readiness for NSPIRE inspections.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience with multi-site leadership.
• Extensive affordable housing and LIHTC experience.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC compliance, income qualification, annual recertifications, and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational oversight for the assigned portfolio.
• Supervise Community Managers and site teams for performance and compliance.
• Partner with the Area Vice President to set portfolio priorities.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Fair Housing and other applicable requirements.
• Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, collections, and budget variances.
• Review certifications and compliance documentation.
• Oversee budgets, payroll, operating expenses, and revenue performance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and oversee maintenance and safety.
• Oversee maintenance programs, vendor performance, and capital projects.
• Assist with regulatory, investor, and agency inspections (NSPIRE).
• Partner with HR on recruiting and staff development.
