Job summary

LR Management Services is seeking a Regional Property Manager to lead a portfolio of communities in Michigan. You will drive day-to-day operations, supervise leasing, resident services, and maintenance, and ensure financial performance while upholding regulatory compliance.

The role requires 6–10 years of property management experience, including multi-site or regional responsibilities, and a track record in budgeting and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 6–10 years experience in property management, latest role as Property Manager/Multi-Site/Regional Property Manager of 1,200+ units with scattered-site experience preferred.
• Experience managing staff of 20+ people including maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of residential apartment marketing, management, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong budgeting, accounting practices, and ability to read financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations across the portfolio; direct line managers.
• Maximize income and control costs for each property.
• Lead budgeting process and variances with managers and owners.
• Design and implement incentive compensation programs.
• Develop and implement marketing and advertising plans with regional teams.
• Conduct site visits and inspections; ensure site offices are organized.
• Ensure risk management practices are implemented.
• Recruit, retain, and develop staff across levels; handle disciplinary actions.
• Manage contracts, work orders, payroll, and invoicing; monitor AR/AP and make-ready processes.
