Job summary

LR Management is seeking a Property Manager with previous apartment management experience to lead a community team in Michigan. You will drive performance, plan and execute real estate activities and transactions, and maintain resident relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in multi-family, mixed-income housing developments.
• Previous experience in property management or related fields.
• Familiarity with real estate contracts and leases.
• Ability to build rapport with tenants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all staff and oversee timesheet submission.
• Approve all overtime and vacation requests.
• Participate in hiring and training staff.
• Conduct employee reviews.
• Maintain relations with residents, staff, and vendors.
• Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring rent and fees are billed and collected.
• Prepare, post, and make bank deposits daily.
• Oversee service and capital contracts and ensure certificates of insurance are current.
• Oversee and complete SODA submissions to the corporate office.
• Perform property inspections for cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Conduct unit pre-move-in and move-out inspections and assess charges.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
• Perform Leasing Agent and Assistant Manager duties as needed.
• Prepare incident reports per LR Management policies.
• Perform general office duties and maintain records.
