Job summary

Pratum Companies seeks a Regional Property Manager to lead a Newark, NJ region of affordable multi-family housing. You will manage operations and finances across several properties, with regular site visits and potential expansion to other NJ sites.

The role is exempt with a competitive annual pay range and discretionary bonuses. On-site work and regional travel within the Newark region are required; a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in affordable LIHTC & Project Based Section 8 multi-family affordable housing property management.
• Experience as regional PM for multi-site portfolios (6+ communities) preferred.
• Certifications: REAC/NSPIRE inspections, MORs or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property management, accounting, inspections, collections, evictions, marketing.
• Outstanding communication, leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of assigned properties.
• Review monthly financials; prepare owner reports; attend asset management meetings.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate staff; manage performance.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and enforce company policies.
• Review leases, contracts, licenses and rent schedules.
• Prepare budgets and negotiate contracts on behalf of properties.
