Job summary

Pratum Co is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of affordable housing in the Newark, NJ region. You will lead on-site teams, drive occupancy and revenue, and ensure compliance across LIHTC and HUD programs.

The role requires travel to properties, strong leadership, and experience managing multi-site portfolios. Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in affordable LIHTC & Project Based Section 8 property management.
• Experience managing multi-site portfolios (6+ communities).
• Certifications, recertifications, REAC/NSPIRE inspections, MORs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of assigned properties to meet occupancy and financial targets.
• Review monthly financial reports and assist owner reports.
• Hire, supervise and evaluate site staff; manage budgets and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and company policies.
• Negotiate contracts and prepare for regulatory inspections.
• Travel regularly to properties within the region to oversee performance.
