Job summary

Sunrise Management & Consulting - NY seeks a Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities. You will lead property-level operations, manage budgets, and supervise Property Managers, driving NOI while ensuring compliance with housing laws across multiple sites.

You will coordinate leasing strategies, manage labor, and mentor site teams, with travel between properties to implement company initiatives and uphold standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in property management.
• 3+ years in multi-site or supervisory capacity.
• Experience owning property-level budgets and driving NOI.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Experience with capital planning and asset condition assessments.
• Experience in emergency preparedness and incident response.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio operations across all sites to ensure consistency and quality.
• Develop and monitor property budgets; review financial performance against plan.
• Directly supervise Property Managers and staff; manage workload and training.
• Manage labor across sites and control staffing costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management across properties.
• Drive NOI through revenue, expense, and operational initiatives.
• Communicate KPIs and priorities to property teams; coordinate with corporate.
• Coordinate leasing strategy and renewal targets for each property.
• Conduct site audits, capital inspections, and asset condition reviews.
