Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a project manager to lead regional design and construction projects and teams that contribute significantly to AbbVie's R&D pipeline. This senior role requires coordinating with engineering, operations, and supply chain while applying risk assessments and budgeting discipline to deliver complex programs on time.

You will develop project strategy, align with global standards, mentor engineers, and engage with key stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

12+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
Formal Project Management training is preferred.
Experience with financial systems and project accounting.
Understanding and management of procurement and contracting processes.
Ability to lead regional design and construction projects and coordinate cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead regional design and construction projects and teams.
Ensure quality and effectiveness of major projects through risk assessments and fallback strategies.
Manage budgets within authorized limits and align with strategic objectives.
